“The WUE University has a very interesting educational offer! The curriculum in the field of Journalism and Social Communication, as well as in the field of Cultural Studies is different from the curricula of other universities, mainly due to a large number of practical classes, e.g. in the TV and radio studios. A very interesting initiative of the University is a programme shot by the students entitled “Time for Culture”. Journalists practice their journalistic skills, and cultural scientists have the opportunity to meet the culture.”
Students' opinions
“The WUE University is a place where there is something interesting for everyone! If you want to become a TV presenter, director or editor on TV – you can join the creation of the TV program “Time for Culture”. If you want to develop your talent as a writer or journalist – you can publish your texts on the university blog! Studying at the WUE University is not just scheduled classes, it’s a real adventure! The WUE University provides a space for the true development of a young journalist or cultural scientist.”
Students' opinions
“A colleague who had studied here recommended this university to me and I wasn’t disappointed! The university offers placements and internships in interesting places which helps to develop very useful journalistic skills. A big advantage for me is a well-functioning e-learning platform.
The Dean’s Office staff members know all the students which makes it very easy to obtain assistance – you don’t have to explain a given problem several times to different people – you just do it once and you know that your case will be positively assessed.”
Students' opinions
“The University has a very friendly atmosphere. All University staff know everyone by name, not by their “file number”. Lecturers always find time to talk to us, which is unfortunately rare at other universities. No bureaucracy makes studying much easier!”
